The Denim Range - Created for even the toughest climbers
Upcycling has always been at the core of what we do.
Using upcycled T-shirts allows us to create truly one-of-a-kind chalkbags — from Bluey and Disney to pop culture prints, animals, and unexpected designs. These pieces are playful, unique, and full of personality. No two are ever the same.
That uniqueness, however, also comes with challenges. One-off designs don’t easily double up, which makes them harder for retailers and wholesalers to reorder or scale. And what’s available to upcycle doesn’t always align with what people are asking for at a given moment.
That’s where the Denim Range comes in.
Jeans are among the most commonly discarded clothing items worldwide. Since Climbing Gems is about removing material from landfill — not adding to it — denim became the natural foundation for a second, more uniform range.
The Denim Range was created to better meet demand from gyms, retailers, and larger orders — and to allow the range to expand beyond chalkbags. Denim’s durability and availability made it possible to introduce boulder buckets alongside chalkbags, offering consistency in design, reliable availability, and repeatable production while staying true to our values.
The range consists of five designs. One features the Climbing Gems logo and will remain part of the range. The other four designs will be renewed for 2026, allowing the collection to evolve while keeping a clear and recognisable structure. Each piece is still handmade from upcycled denim, with individuality coming through fabric variation and finish.
I’m currently gathering inspiration for the next generation of Denim Range designs. If you have ideas — graphics, themes, or details you’d love to see — I’d genuinely love to hear them.
Consistent by design. Upcycled by nature. Built to be used.
